"I’m extremely disappointed with how my return was handled. I returned three pairs of shorts for exchanges. One exchange was approved but has been showing “preparing” since September 2. Another was a promotional/free pair, which the company has now offered to replace. The biggest issue is the third pair. Little Trouble denied my exchange because they claimed the shorts had an odor. I completely disputed this because the shorts came from my clean, smoke-free home, and I was expecting that pair to be returned to me so I could inspect them myself. Instead, customer service informed me in writing that their returns employee accidentally disposed of the shorts. This is what I find unacceptable. The company denied my exchange based on an alleged odor, but then disposed of the actual merchandise, leaving me with no way to inspect the shorts or verify/dispute the reason they denied my exchange. And because the exchange was denied, those shorts should have been returned to me—not thrown away. I appreciate that they are replacing the promotional pair, but that does not resolve the separate pair that was disposed of. I returned three pairs, and I expect all three to be properly accounted for. I have asked to speak directly with the owner because I would like the opportunity for the company to make this right. I’m happy to update my review if and when this is resolved."
